To prevent, to diagnose, to treat and rehabilitate, “Muscular Dystrophy” patient’s person / child suffering from this cursed disease. To develop a network of NGO to create create awareness about this dreaded disease amongst common people To create awareness amongst doctors, paramedical staff & those associated with medical filed.

OUR OBJECTS

 ● To establish and/or a quire and maintain a research center and a Hospital along with all ultramodern facilities for muscular Dystrophy Patients. 

● To establish support professorship etc. at any school, college, university or other such educational institutions and any person offering services connected with muscular dystrophy science or medical science or pharmaceutical science. 

● To establish and maintain a hospital, rest house or boarding (cure taking house) / hostel and or grant or subsidize boarding and lodging to needy, deserving students, in educational institute etc. or those receiving education or training in medical muscular Dystrophy Science. 

● To great of monetary assistance to any school, college, university and other institutions importing education in Muscular Dystrophy science 

● To Promote education and learning in medical (Muscular Dystrophy) and Allied Branches. 

● To establish, maintains and/or support of library or reading room afliated with educational institutions connected with Muscular Dystrophy or pharmaceutical sciences

OUR ACTIVITIES

● To combat Muscular Dystrophy disease. 

● To Support on unparallet world wide research. A world wide research program with grants and fellowship awarded to physician and scientist in hospitals and universities in India and abroad who are seeking causes and treatment and cure for the neuromuscular diseases 

● Drug development and research on potential therapeutic agents that may arrest or reserve the progression of muscular diseases. 

● Genetics overseas studies of all aspects of genetic defects implicated directly or indirectly in neuromuscular diseases. 

● Fundamental research on nerve and muscle including studies on muscle function, regulation and regeneration, biochemical changes involved in muscle diseases and interaction of nerve and muscle. 

● To supports any research program efforts on individual or institutional bases.

● To Support national program : A Nation Program of patients and community services

Our trust provides : 

Diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation assistance, including follow up care Monetary aids or subsidies for the purchase and reasonable repairs of walkers, body-jackets, leg braces, wheel chairs, orthopedic shoe, hospital bed (motorized), Aids for day to day needs like heel and elbow protector, specialized urinals, bedpans, raised toilet seats, Communication devices suction machine for aspiration etc. Social service counseling motive to diagnose and follow up care of clinic examination, laboratory test to detect any diagnose muscular dystrophy patients as well as screening carriers of such defective gene by DNA diagnosis. Occupational and respiratory therapy is taken care by our expert occupational and respiratory theropist, including yoga and such supportive therapy is given to patients. Genetic counseling is provided to the family and family screening projects are supported. transportation to patient is provided for appointments at the nearest clinic or sponsored clinics, for ceratin sponsored recreational services for tting braces and other orthopedic devices. Camp program is sponsored by society for young patients of ages between 6 to 21 years. Activities geared to the abilities of campers, the out door games, less physically demanding sports like art and craft etc. these camps are staffed by trained people, staff nurses, doctors and volunteers from school, colleges and universities. Professional educational program in order to increase awareness about of neuromuscular diseases among physician, nurses and therapists. The society will sponsor scientic publications, conventions, international scientic meetings, hall conferences of clinical directors and their associates and imparting training to all associated in medical care. A society is active in supporting program and legislation aimed at increasing the mobility of people with disabilities by making accessible schools, transport systems, places of employment, places residence and other such facilities to the patients. Society also assists patients to procure other community resources.
